A classic Australian TV music show from the 1970s and 80s, Countdown.com.au came to the web a few years ago to promote a reunion concert tour. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation engaged us to redevelop the website so it could live beyond this event and act as a fan site for all of the archival content from the TV show.

The Drupal build needed to integrate with a range of legacy products, such as user statistics, email newsletter systems, banner advertising, and the ABC’s proprietary Silverlight video player. We also needed to migrate 10,000 registered users from the original website so they could start contributing to the discussion forums and fan photo galleries from the moment the new site launched.
