Managed Drupal Cloud Hosting & Support in Australia

Managed Cloud Services plans to support, maintain and enhance your web platforms on enterprise-grade cloud hosting infrastructure.

The majority of our clients take advantage of PreviousNext’s 24/7 Managed Cloud Services plans to support, maintain and enhance their web platforms on enterprise-grade cloud hosting infrastructure.

Advances in cloud hosting technologies have been immense in recent years, and the days when sophisticated clients could rely on a Drupal-specific hosting provider for all their platform needs are long gone. PreviousNext has kept close pace with these changes and has developed deep expertise and partnerships with both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure to provide our clients with the maximum reliability, flexibility and value for their hosting needs.

Continuous Integration

From the first day of development, all of our projects utilise PreviousNext’s cloud-based Continuous Integration platform. This advanced system ties Github code source control in with automated testing and deployment tools, providing a robust and scalable foundation for developer workflow. The CI platform also enables PreviousNext to integrate efficiently with clients’ own internal development teams and other partners.

Enterprise Scale Cloud Architecture

Having built many of the largest and most visited Drupal sites in Australia, the PreviousNext team is expertly equipped to architect platforms to ensure they stand up under huge traffic loads. Our managed cloud platforms take advantage of the latest services from AWS and Azure to enable real-time autoscaling without any human intervention. As certified experts in both the application and infrastructure layers, we have a suite established processes and tools to optimise performance and distribute traffic loads through the use of advanced caching technologies and Content Delivery Networks.

With cloud hosting becoming increasingly like a utility service, prices are consistently falling as competition increases and technoilogy advances. Unlike many other managed cloud providers, PreviousNext strives to pass these infrastructure cost savings through to our clients, enabling budget to be directed to platform enhancements and other added-value services.

Managed Cloud Services

Once your site goes live, the team that built the platform switches into support mode. This approach ensures that the knowledge built up around your platform is not lost post-launch, and that support tickets are dealt with by the team you have an existing relationship with.

In the event PreviousNext didn’t build the original site, we will conduct a thorough code and security audit before remediating critical issues and moving into a Managed Services plan.

As we are constantly monitoring your platform with automated tools, we proactively address issues well before they become problems, all taking place without you needing to worry. This is further enhanced by our team accessing your code through our continuous integration platform, fixing issues directly and pushing them live. This is a huge advantage over a generic Drupal support service that can only offer advice about what needs to be fixed.

Our Managed Cloud Services plans include the following:

  • 99.95% infrastructure uptime guarantees
  • Australian-based data centres
  • 24/7 application and infrastructure support via phone and online ticketing system
  • Dedicated Client Service Manager
  • Automated monitoring & reporting
  • Guaranteed response times to support tickets
  • Application and server software security updates
  • Denial of Service Attack prevention
  • Backups and disaster recovery processes
  • Adherence to government record keeping requirements where applicable
  • Access to the entire PreviousNext team for expert advice

PreviousNext is a pre-approved supplier on many Australian government panels, and certified to provide these services to federal, state and local government clients.

Pricing for Managed Services plans start at under $10,000 per year and are tailored based on a client's individual requirements.

Enhancement Services

In addition to keeping your site maintained and live, many clients engage PreviousNext under a retainer for ongoing website and platform enhancements. Whether it be 8 or 80 hours a month, an Enhancement Services Plan means you have guaranteed access to a team to fulfil your ad-hoc requirements around new features or functionality. A dedicated Client Service Manager oversees the Enhancement Services, and works with you to plan and prioritise the tasks to be completed each month.

Pricing for enhancement services is discounted based on the volume of hours required each month.
