In 2013, we worked with the Integration and Implementation Sciences (I2S) discipline at the Australian National University, Canberra, to redesign and upgrade their website.

The solutions
Phase One of the project was migrating the Drupal 6 I2S site to Drupal 7.
Phase Two focused on user interface design and information architecture. This primarily involved designing a new homepage and refactoring back-end resources.
Interactivity was also considerably enhanced by introducing a new video, feature ads on the homepage, and integrating links to various resources.
The results
We led the user interface design and have created an environment and structure that will enhance information sharing among researchers, especially by enabling them to share skills, concepts, and methods, as well as to build new strategies for their own work.
The new I2S site was successfully launched mid-year 2014. Our engagement with the client continued through ongoing site maintenance.
