Our story

PreviousNext started in 2009, when co-founders Owen Lansbury and Kim Pepper set out to build an agency around open source, done properly.

That's still who we are. We're 100% Australian-based and employee-owned. With 40% of company equity already granted to our team since 2022, we’re on the way to full employee ownership by 2032.

It's this stability that clients feel day to day. Our developers are senior, and our average staff tenure is currently 9 years. That’s at least triple the technology industry norm. Meaning you're working with the same people project after project, giving you continuity and consistency.

We focus most of our work on government and higher education, and we bring the same rigour to enterprise and large not-for-profit clients.
