Way back in 2009, PreviousNext built the first major government Drupal portal in Australia for NSW.gov.au. That project became a showcase for how the open source CMS could be successfully adopted by all tiers of government, and helped pave the way for its rapid adoption.

The time has come to close the book on our government Drupal distribution, aGov. We are no longer actively developing sites using aGov, and instead are focussing our efforts on the new GovCMS Drupal 8 distribution. Here’s a short history of aGov and how we got to this point.

In late 2016 PreviousNext was engaged as the department's Drupal build partner to develop a new Drupal 8 platform that consolidates myriad websites across the organisation.
The Department of Communications leads the Australian Government’s policies and initiatives for digital technology and communication services. In early 2015 PreviousNext was contracted to develop the Department's new website using Drupal.
Following an extended period of consulting to AIFS, working closely with the internal team and gaining a deep understanding of their requirements, PreviousNext were engaged for the design, development and migration of the main AIFS website and numerous sub-sites, onto the Drupal platform.
Sport and Recreation, run by the NSW Government Office of Sport, offers a range of services and support to promote active and healthy lifestyles for NSW residents. Each year they provide grants, nurture sporting talent, build sporting facilities, run & regulate events and promote the development of the sports industry. In late 2014 the Office of Sport engaged PreviousNext for the redesign and development of their Sport and Recreation website in Drupal.
In late 2014, PreviousNext was engaged for the design and Drupal development of a new website for ASADA, the Australian Sports and Anti-Doping Authority.
