FremantleMedia Australia, the producer of some of Australia’s favourite TV shows such as The X Factor, Australia’s Got Talent and Grand Designs, engaged PreviousNext to design, build and launch a new corporate website.
FremantleMedia Australia, a division of one of the world’s biggest production companies, required a website that was up-to-date with current technologies. With their original site built in Flash, the need for mobile compatibility and ease of management within their new site was critical. Further to this, FremantleMedia required a site that would promote shows to network buyers and sponsors and tie in closely with their global branding.
PreviousNext already managed some of FremantleMedia Australia’s online casting applications through a separate platform. With this longstanding relationship established, FremantleMedia entrusted PreviousNext to create the new information architecture, visual design, and build the new site in Drupal. PreviousNext replaced the platform with Drupal 7 and trained and supported the internal FremantleMedia team to use the new CMS and to manage their own content.
PreviousNext delivered the platform on time and on budget and worked closely with the FremantleMedia Australia team to get to launch. Developed for a commercial audience (TV networks and marketing agencies), the new site provides FremantleMedia with an impressive platform to showcase their shows. The new structure is tuned for better Search Engine Optimisation, has mobile viewable content and FremantleMedia Australia now have a web platform they have full control over.
